Everyone: band booster meeting next Tuesday, September 11th, from 5:45-6:45PM in the band room. This is a great way to get “plugged in” and learn about more opportunities within the North band program. Everyone is invited!

Symphonic band music is ready for any 9th-12th grader who would like to audition for the Spring/2019 SM North symphonic band. Please see Mr. Reed or Ms. Fillingham for music.
Parents: This may seem like an “off the cuff” question, but please contact me if you have access to a golf cart or ATV that we could use on Saturday, Oct. 13 during our marching invitational. Only parents would have access to the vehicle, not a student. 😊
Parents, if any of you have your marching invitational volunteer shirt from last year, could you please return it early next week? We need to inventory all shirts so we can order additional shirts, if necessary.
HOME FOOTBALL GAME next Friday, September 14th. Band room opens at 5:15PM for uniform checkout for all varsity and JV band members. All students report to the JV field (behind the stadium) by 6:15PM, in full uniform with instrument, ready to go. Since this is the Homecoming football game, VARSITY BAND WILL PERFORM THE “HALFTIME” SHOW AT 6:40PM BEFORE THE GAME since the regular halftime will introduce the Homecoming court. Parents, if you want to see the show, please be in your seat by 6:40PM! After halftime, we will have our one and only meeting during 3rd quarter to organize the SM North Marching Invitational (held on Oct. 13th). We ask ALL PARENTS in the stands to attend this meeting 3rd quarter…we will be done with the meeting so you can go back out to watch our band students in the stands during the 4th quarter.
